Phillips County is located on the eastern edge of North Central Montana bordering the Canadian providence of Saskatchewan. Malta is 200 miles directly north of Billings or 200 miles east of Great Falls.

Phillips County offers three financial institutions; First State Bank, First Security Bank and Independence Bank - all aggressive lenders willing to "go that extra mile" to provide service to their clients and community.
